What are your top style tips to make a home feel inviting, unique and inspiring?
Textures are high on the list and that means playing with different surfaces like timber, concrete, carpets and rugs, chunky knits, velvets etc. It is all about creating soft contrasts rather than making everything feel like it is a feature of high-visual impact.

What couldn’t you do without when creating a space?
A rug anchors a room – it defines the entertaining area, the lounging area and the conversation ‘pit’ that we furnish around.

The one piece of advice you would tell you younger self?
Stop editing yourself in your head, get it out and process it later – great things happen when you go with the flow at the beginning.

What’s your biggest design no-no?
Designing your home for other people or for show – it creates a soulless space.

What is on your styling wish list at the moment?
Four metre high ceilings – that space will come in some form or another (I’m manifesting it!).

What’s your “go-to” rug?
A rug with texture, light and shade in the design that works with everyday foot traffic.

What super power would you have and why?
Time shifter – there is never enough hours in the day.

Who do you Instagram stalk for style inspiration?
I actually play ‘roulette’ and put in words of inspiration to see what pops up!

What are your Interior Design predictions for the year ahead, what’s in or what’s out?
We are going minimalist (no clutter and filled surfaces) with lots of warm textures – brown and orange on the agenda.
